ABOUT US
ERD is an informal group of like-minded souls who enjoy a common interest in maritime history. It is free to join, all we need is for you to register with us using the contact page, with your name and email (We use your email to keep in touch with regards to diving opportunities and for you to claim discounts with GP Diving).

We work as a collective, we research, we plan, and if it is beneath the waves, GPD then conducts predive safety precautions and provides logistical support, then we dive. Shoreside projects have less restrictions but the process is similar. Any member can suggest a project, simply make your proposal supported by your research and if approved – we dive.
We are not just about shipwrecks that lie on the seabed, accessible only by divers. Our coasts, rivers and the areas around waterways contain important clues to our maritime heritage. You don't need to be a diver to join, there are places for Researchers, Logistics and Divers. In fact there is a place for everyone, so if you are simply an enthusiast you are more than welcome.
Safety is paramount, all divers will be required to log their qualifications with GP Diving prior to a dive. When a dive project is advertised it will include number of places and required qualifications.
